I hope I don't owe him anything for just typing it out. This song deals with excuses, frustrations, responsibilities laid over the top of a hip fun new sound! Maybe you can tell I'm making shit up here...the best thing to do to get an idea of what I'm trying to say is listen to the song. This song started out as a sound check with my good friend Paul Masouf acting as engineer - we just wanted to hear what the drums and guitars sounded like after messing with the mics and things....but we ended up with a new song!
